L: Dark brown and black hues with a thin cinnamon-colored head
S: Huge coffee notes on the nose with a bit of roasted malt
T: As expected this is a very roasted coffee-forward stout with mocha, dark chocolate, and molasses hints
F: Low carbonation and a somewhat thin
O: Sump is an excellent example of a coffee stout. The taste is somewhat dominated by the coffee notes up front, but there are plenty of supporting flavors to nicely round out each sip. Overall this was an expertly crafted and tasty coffee stout.
