Our special release starts with 100% malted barley which contains flavors of roasted nuts and toasted bread. We then grind and ferment the whole grain, distill it in our copper stills, and finally pass it through our traditional charcoal mellowing process. It’s then matured in our brand new, charred oak barrels, to capture Jack Daniel’s signature taste of caramel and vanilla. It is then transferred into the finest quality Spanish Oloroso sherry casks from the Antonio Paez Lobato Cooperage for a minimum of two years and, finally, bottled straight from the cask at cask proof.
