BARREL NATION PICK
Nose: sweet and fruity. Candy corny with some cocoa
Palate: orange notes from the VDN but a bakers chocolate note that I wasn’t expecting was nice.
Finish: shorter dry finish with orange and cinnamon.
Reminds me of the Parker Heritage orange Curaçao release only not as quite as pronounced orange flavor which I’m OK with. I can’t wait to dry this in an old fashioned with some chocolate bitters to bring out that cocoa note.
