Lockhart wines are made in Napa Valley at Delicato Family Vineyards. The fruit source for the wines is from the same five growers every year and is a blend of Sonoma, Napa, Monterey and Paso Robles fruit in order to achieve a truly Californian wine at an affordable price.
Complex aromas of black tea, smoke, black cherry, plum, and wood introduce this wine. The flavors are bigger and fresher-fruited than the nose suggests. Black and red cherries are both there, along with red currants, and touches of earth and stone on the finish.
