The 2018 Tussock Jumper Malbec opens with very pleasing aromas of fresh black cherry and blackberry along with nice touches of spice and vanilla. The wine tastes smooth and rich and is full fresh fruit like blackberry, black cherry and raspberry. The excellent touches of spice from the nose also re-appear in the mouth. Streaks of cola and licorice emerge mid-palate and lead into the dry, long finish that even features a bit of minerality and lingering hints of coffee.
