Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge is an orange-flavored cognac liqueur created in 1880 by Alexandre Marnier-Lapostolle. It is made from a blend of Cognac brandy, distilled essence of bitter orange, and sugar.
Pleasant orange notes with hints of candied peel, light aroma of vanilla fragrance from the cognac.Fragrant orange flavors enhanced by the cognac with nuances of orange essence and hazelnuts.The aromas are distinctly bitter orange zest with some pears lurking in the backdrop; the body is big, and creamy, and the palate--sweet but not overly sweet; delightful.
