Gentleman Jack gets its unique mellow smoky flavor from being twice filtered through charcoal as opposed to the regular single filtration for Jack Daniels. The Whiskey is then aged and filtered again before bottling.
A classic from Jack Daniel's. Medium bodied. Reminiscent of citrus, honey, dried herbs, almonds. Moderately rich texture. Slightly tangy on the palate. While not overly herbaceous, there are ample fragrances as sensed in the country meadow. Mellow, smooth, mouthwatering and delicious; rich and pretty caramel and citrus aromas precede complex flavors of leather, tobacco, vanilla and cocoa; pair with a cigar.
